There was once a time in the world where things were simpler. When time meant nothing, no currency existed, there was no need to get the 'next best thing'; and while that time maybe over, it's simplistic example can be pulled into our current rushing world.
We are not above anyone else- but neither are we below. This life of ours is like a great tapestry- one woven together with many other lives. Each changing color as we move through the landscape of our time on this spinning ball is a portion of what we are; what we have gone through. The beauty of a tapestry is that it has so many different colors; and a single thread can be knotted to hold a hundred different colors...some warm, others cold- dark and light... they all just continue through the great image. Its a beautiful thing. Feeling insignificant, commonplace, worthless... those are the emotions which will always hold us back from our true potential. Its most often when we compare ourselves with others that those negative and painful emotions burst through like the drunk neighbor from down the hall. Just a reckless and uncoordinated shifting of cognition leaving in its wake a startled and bewildered you. So what does a simpler time have to do with the great tapestry and the drunk trollop from a nearby residence- simplicity breeds joy. Literally; the simpler life is, the easier it is to feel happiness. While there is no way to be rid of the crucial parts in life and still be able to comfortably support a family (being uncomfortable is not happy- that's worry and worry is stress) But luckily there are things that CAN be done to make things simpler. Get rid of the clutter. On your social media friend's list, on your desk at work, in the car, in your home (there is always a place that accumulates mail; more than likely a crucial bit of information from your bank or a lawyer is in that stack and should be looked at), and especially in your mind. You cannot find what you're seeking in this space if your mind is a cluttered mess of worry, anxiety, paycheck numbers, bills, budgets, children's odd behavior, the To Do list you were supposed to do about a month ago but still have yet to start, the thing you ordered on line that never arrived, the meds you have to pick up, the incoming family members. No. The place between insanity and genius cannot be plagued with those paltry things. If you want to find the joy that you deserve, and want to exist within this secret place- your life will need to be examined. What things can you stop worrying about? Well the ones you have no control over are pretty easy to identify. If your family is going to be insulting; that's them. You cannot change their awfulness. Do you need to worry about the financial things- sure; but all the time? No! Let that come round when its time for it to. The To Do list... what was on there that was so crucial? Your life continued with out those things being done so why continue to hurt over your "failure"? That online order- contact the merchant, or the carrier, or both. Then let it go. Just know that your mind being cluttered ADDS to the feelings of being so overwhelmed... Simplify your life to improve it in ways you cannot ever imagine.
